Safer Neighbourhoods
Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home, at local parks, and throughout our community. I will advocate for stronger partnerships between the City, Brantford Police Service, neighbourhood associations, and community organizations to address crime and improve public safety. I support proactive crime prevention initiatives, better lighting in public spaces where needed, well-maintained parks and trails, and practical measures that help reduce vandalism, property crime, and illegal activity while keeping our neighbourhoods welcoming for everyone.
Respect for Taxpayers
Your tax dollars should be managed responsibly. I will carefully review spending decisions, support efficient and accountable budgeting, and ensure every project provides real value to residents. I believe in responsible financial management, reducing unnecessary waste, prioritizing essential services, and making decisions that keep Brantford affordable while planning wisely for future growth.
Smart Growth for Ward 5
As Brantford continues to grow, we must balance development with protecting the parks, trails, natural areas, and green spaces that make it a great place to live. I will advocate for thoughtful planning that respects existing neighbourhoods, preserves important green spaces whenever possible, and ensures infrastructure keeps pace with development. Growth should strengthen our community without sacrificing the natural spaces and quality of life that residents value.
Youth & Family Opportunities
Strong communities invest in their future. I will support safe parks, recreation programs, sports, libraries, and community spaces that provide meaningful opportunities for children, youth, and families. I want Ward 5 to be a place where young people can learn, play, and thrive, and where families have access to the services and amenities they need to build a strong future together.
Why I’m Running
I’m running for Brantford City Council because I believe Ward 5 deserves practical, accountable leadership that puts residents first. As a husband, father, homeowner, and longtime community advocate, I want to help build a safer, stronger community. I will work to ensure your tax dollars are spent responsibly, promote greater transparency at City Hall, and support opportunities that help youth and families thrive. My commitment is to listen, be accessible, and make common-sense decisions that reflect the priorities of the people I represent.
